@dirtyd369 said in Error Code when booting and trying to exit the Config menu:

Is there a way to input the login info directly into the config file of the SD?

Unfortunately not. You'll have to either enable and use SSH and re-enable autologin again or find a keyboard to log in directly. See this topic for the autologin problem - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/18582/auto-login-not-working .

@118k You'll have to do a bit of effort and provide answers for the questions in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. Are you using a reliable SD card ?

Do you mean that you needed to firmly press the USB cable into the connector to solve the issue?

Anyway, glad to hear that things are working for you now!

@10vorne scummvm doesnt host data files, they just tell you which files it needs to run, so if the files you have reflect those, throw them in the scummvm rom folder (I usually keep games in their own subfolders) then launch it from the scummvm gui

It looks like you've already been answered, sorry about the wait. I don't always have time to check this forum daily.

Oh no no no! I didn't gave enough context, the part about not reposting and provoking statement was to the thread opener, not to you!

The NUC are interesting, but cost a lot more. But I can see why you like them. ;-)

deleted case ethernet port, case door hinges came out for room, glued closed. had to put dedicated power to the hd to spin right so extra usb port grafted to the drives power wires while data wires go to pie. runs cool enough 50 degrees-ish so far. case closes tighter than pics when screwed together. just took some quick snaps to share. think it turned out pretty good.

      I have a question,
could you manage to get a GPIO output to toggle from high to low or vice versa when something happens in the game? are there any methods to detect if gameover or highscore happens?
I ask because I have RGB mood lighting on my cabinet, and would love to make it flash and strobe etc if you die or get a highscore etc.

I understand that detecting an emulator starting and detecting what happens inside the emulator are two different things, but you dont get if you dont ask :)

      ok I found a solution.
If I use 2 ps3 DUALSHOCK3 controller (exactly the same model) everything works well.

I am curious why you would specifically want the Finder for this? Why not use a decent (S)FTP client like Cyberduck or Fugu?
